joe, i am so sorry our gorilla got bruised and battered at that commissioners' hearing. i would take him in myself and give him a blanky and a pacifier. though what occured was ridiculous, your commentary was the funniest thing i've read since i looked at my old poems which were NOT INTENDED TO BE HILARIOUS. i love your use of metaphors and analogies. you are one fine journalist. and now you're stuck on this forum and in local newspapers when you should be writing a syndicated column.
