In other words, Dan would take more from others to reduce his own taxes. As an HOA all lots pay the same to support the amenities. Dan wants to end that system. Hmmm.....Robin Hood.....Castro....etc. Great idea.......NOT.... I found the article that says..."Ocean Pines should be for the people who live here.. not for the people who own property here. I don't want to live in a community where people who don't live here have any say in how the place is run." JUST WONDERFUL...... I think he knows a good realtor who could help him with that personal problem. Nancy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: He said we could save ourselves a lot of money because of waterfront properties.....???? Stachurski is getting at the fact that a municipality would impose taxes based on property value. Since waterfront properties are more valuable, he believes those properties would pay much more than most interior lots. In other words, Dan would take more from others to reduce his own taxes. As an HOA all lots pay the same to support the amenities. Dan wants to end that system. |
