What about basing the taxes on the value of the lot? We are an HOA. What is wrong with the current system where all pay the same (with extra for most waterfront for bulkhead replacement)? Every lot owner has equal access and use of all amenities and common areas, and each pays the same. Waht could be FAIRER? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jack, I have personally always believed that basing what one pays in taxes in a community based on the value of the home they decide to build or purchase is not a good system. What about basing the taxes on the value of the lot? Gary |
