You should ask "Why should Ocean Pines build more dock slips when Pines Point Marina already has"? I have. A YMCA does not improve property values. Probably as much as Pines Point Marina does. You are delusional to think that the YMCA is in the near future. Not according to Tom Cetola. I have heard nothing to indicate the Y is not going to proceed in the next year or so. Have you, or are you simply speculating? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: You should ask "Why should Ocean Pines build more dock slips when Pines Point Marina already has"? The answer to your question is simple, because that is what the majority of the Association membership wants! A private indoor pool does have real amenity value for all lots as opposed to more slips. A YMCA does not improve property values. You are delusional to think that the YMCA is in the near future. Thanks. Marty

In my view this marina at Swim and Racquet is a very bad idea. If anything, it will harm property values in the immediate area to benefit 50 or so people who in all likelihood will live outside the immediate area.
