| That's right. You only need a clean and working facility at the beach. Faux marble is as good as anything else for this. If I'm dressed up at a fine restaurant or theater, then I would expect a lovely "ladies room"! | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You seem to have fond memories of the Beach Club. I think after 44 years it would be nice for loyal Beach Club members like yourself to have something more modern and functional then faux marble sinks. You are certainly more tolerant than I. I've only used the same facilities for about 12 years .Norm Hi Norm, No ...I don't have fond memories of the Beach Club bathrooms. They were ...and always will be... sandy and messy and that will never change. Women's bathing suits collect LOTS of sand! IT IS THE BEACH! The place needs to be as simple and easy to clean as possible. I don't really care what the sinks are made of as long as the faucets work, and warm water comes out of the shower heads. As far as I am concerned they are functional. To spend our money in there would be like putting lipstick on a pig. You go in there, take your shower and get out as soon as possible so the next person can come in. Our money can be spent better some place else. Nancy |
