I think that is very significant because it suggests that a major developer, Marvin Steen, recognizes that the financial drain of the golf ammenity has more of a negative effect on our property values as opposed to the very presence of a the golf ammenity having a positive effect on our property values.
I agree. We are at or past the tipping point, and Marvin sees that. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I think this is wonderful news. With Marvin Steen spearheading the effort, I am sure OP Association members will finally have the opportunity to express their choice via a referendum. I will contact COPE and do whatever I can to help accomplish that. The flyer states "While there presumably are benefits to all property owners by the presence of a golf course in Ocean Pines, their impact on property values are impossible to quantify".
