To my knowledge they are association members tired of seeing a large percentage of their assessment dollars going to subsidize a business that has yearly operational losses of $250,000 to $500,000 over recent years. And a total 10-year subsidy from assessment dollars over a period from 2007-2017 = around $10 million or more.
As an aside, I do not support the sale or private development of a single square inch of the course, but I do believe with so much money involved, any decision about the future of the course should be made in referendum by association members. Do you oppose the membership making the decision? |
