However, when it came to the item, Dave said lets move on. Your original  comment suggested that Dave could have controlled things by not allowing the GM to comment on the golf issue. I don't think Dave was incorrect at all in allowing Bob to talk. The problem was not Bob talking, but rather, as is too often the case, what he says.

Sharyn clearly didn't "forget" that Bob wanted to say something about golf.
