Hello: do not believe it would solve everything...simply believe its better than what we have at present. We, (the Association) needs some criterion for who sits in the GMs role. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: In any field there are professionals, upon professionals, and even more professionals. There are doctors, upon doctors, upon more doctors. Theres bankers upon bankers and more bankers. Professionals aren't immune from mistakes (even blunders). Some trial lawyers make good money suing doctors for their mistakes. Even clergy can get in trouble, as one in Baltimore did recently, a hit & run bicycle case. Sorry, I don't buy your theory of "Professional" management solving everything. All professionals are not equally proficient. Nor are all a "good fit' with every situation. Some folks will change doctors, at times, to get what they feel will be a better one for their needs. Same with bankers, brokers, lawyers etc. Personalities are part of the mix for success. Changes may be brought about by conflicts, divergence of views, personalities, mistakes, blunders etc. Nothing unique about OP's situation, IMO. Maybe its time for a change of GM?? Tom |
