| I remember that you were an initial supporter of Thompson and I also clearly remember who edged out Olson. Personally, I was not in favor of hiring a GM the way it was done. I thought that there should have been a larger talent search before a decision was made. The lack of experience bothered me. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I believe you, among others, pointed this out and were correct in saying that this was a negative. Just to keep factual -- I was initially a supporter of Thompson becoming GM. Also to keep factual -- the two primary board members behind the firing of Olson and hiring of fellow board member Bob Thompson as GM were Bill Rakow and Marty Clarke. |
