Having said that, if 200 people showed up at the board meeting, all demanding there be no food truck, I suspect there would not be a food truck in the budget.
That's interesting because, also in the Progress, was a discussion about the food truck. I forget if it was with Terry or another Board member but the impression was that they had received a LOT of negative feedback from the community and I believe an implication that just because it was approved did not mean the money would be spent. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My contention is that even if you get the GM/Board to abide by the letter of the law, they will not abide by the spirit of the law. The spirit and letter of the law is simply to make the budget available to association members. The law does not require a board to listen to what association members say after they have the proposed budget. Having said that, if 200 people showed up at the board meeting, all demanding there be no food truck, I suspect there would not be a food truck in the budget. |
