Below is a copy of a section of the HOA Act with regard to HOA budgets. It was sent to me by an association member who believes OPA has not complied with the Act. Most especially, the section of Act that specifies how the HOA must provide a copy of the proposed budget to association members. To my knowledge, the board did not comply with §11B–112.2. I believe the only way for an association member to see the entire budget prior to approval was to go and look at a hard copy in the Admin building lobby.
