| Since the pools are a major draw to the public, I wonder if the cost for non-residents should be higher than it is. My perspective is that the cost for OP Amenities is too good a deal for outsiders. I could live outside of OP, pay slightly higher charges for amenities and save $921 in assessments. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Carol, thank you for your comment on aquatics. So appreciated! I have a very strong team who works very hard to make the pools successful and we will continue to do so. I can tell you that our pools are used pretty much half and half with ocean pines residents and the general outside public. I know some feel we shouldn't offer to the general public, but those same want us to make money and the draw to the outside public from the pines is huge as we are the ONLY public pool in the area. Not to mention our programs are packed all the time. Every program/class we offer we always offer a resident and non resident rate. Thank you again! |
