Any topic relating to the business of Ocean Pines. Terry likes to argue that "everybody does it". Hell, he tried to bring Ms. Jacobs and Mr. Herrick into a secret and illegal meeting shortly after their elections. Mr. Herrick's ethics made up for Ms. Jacob's apparent lack of understanding of Title 11B-111. I never did it in my six years serving on the board. I have in fact left a conversation at Denovo's when there was a quorum in attendance and a business discussion came up. It is not just unethical, it is illegal. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: but, on the other hand Ms. Jacobs is constantly touting her credentials as an attorney at law and should know better. Exactly. Someone should have said, "Wait a minute. We cannot legally discuss this topic at this time." |
