Sure. Why not throw $100,000 for a place for dogs to chase balls. Goes right in line with how this board manages OP. Occasionally the courts are actually used for tennis but not much. Ditto my statement above. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yes, those social aspects are so important the board voted to do about $100,000 to repair tennis courts at the S&R Club. I go to the S&R Club regularly biking Tobi. A lot of dog owners will appreciate the resurfacing as the courts are often used as a place to throw tennis balls for their dogs to retrieve. |
Occasionally the courts are actually used for tennis but not much. 
Years ago I had suggested that one of the courts be removed to provide room for more park space but tennis folks did not like that idea.
