I have looked at the video of the meeting and it appears the BoD members were very confused about what was going on.
There was no confusion. The four who voted to approve the Terry motion knew EXACTLY what they were doing. with a plan that is ridiculous and that few even understand. That's because few take the trouble to understand. Terry's motion was to approve Phase One of the overall Manklin Creek Project master plan as recommended by the GM, with the exception of preparing for eight pickleball courts instead of preparing for eight and completing four. All of this information is readily available online in the board packet information. The motion and the board action in passing it was outrageous. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Tom, I have looked at the video of the meeting and it appears the BoD members were very confused about what was going on. The members who watched the meeting do not agree on what happened in the meeting either. IT WAS A DISASTER! Do you think there is any chance that there could be a "DO OVER" of that meeting? There is too much money at stake to go forward with a plan that is ridiculous and that few even understand. Thank you so much for participating on the Forum. Nancy |
