The last time I saw the list was back when Director Collins was trying to make a proposal to liquidate them. I believe there was 20 or so then. Contrary to Mr. Reynolds assetting there has never been an honest attempt to sell them. At one time OPA claimed they could sell them for $150,000 each which was insane. My guess is the back lots would easly bring an average of $35,000 and the waterfronts around $150,000. Today they are worthless to the OPA. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I was watching a video meeting when Marty Clarke suggested OPA selling vacant lots that OPA has. Does anyone know how many lots we are talking about. Also someone shot him down saying we tried to sell them 10 years ago with no luck. Well ..10 years ago there was no building going on,there were better lots available,etc.etc. Why not list them and see what happens?? Prices are higher now. Heck... just auction them off if you have too. Get that missing assessment money rolling in !!!!!!!!!!!! Steve |
