Your comment tells me that you may not know as much about how OPA operates as one might assume. The great losses at the yacht club and the Beach club had really not much to do with the individual managing either facility but with the Board of Directors allowing total miss-management to continue for months in the face of mounting losses that were clearly, clearly visible, and after telling the temp GM not to do anything but proceed as the board determined.
Two bands; 20% discount; open more hours with fewer customers, etc. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Personally, I really missed the manager that misappropriated $5000 in petty cash over his replacement that lost a few hundred thousand. Mismanagement was a far bigger problem than theft. How about our Director of Finance pays attention to the numbers and reacts if there is a problem rather than do nothing all summer. |
