Both you and Marty perhaps did not read what Colby wrote about the old golf course pond.
She wrote, "Also one big piece we were doing before was installing a new culvert under Beauchamp Road at Ivy lane which has nothing to do with Bainbridge pond but would have needed the man-made pond at the old golf course to take on that water. Our previous project was going to make improvements for around 800 homes where our new project will make improvements for around 370 homes." So, Marty talks about the elevation of the existing culvert under Beauchamp Road relative to a proposed pond on the old golf course. However, the plan apparently was calling for a new culvert under Beauchamp at Ivy Lane. I would not make any judgements about what the project was designed to do without seeing the actual design. Marty says he has not seen the design and is going from memory about what Thompson proposed some years ago. I believe Thompson's proposal predated the FREE solution Commissioner Buntin came up with to divert a great deal of runoff into River Run. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I would bet you could inspect the plats and elevations at P/W, or, you could stand at the outfall location on Beauchamp Road and look “up” at the Pines Shore property. You give me hope that I do not have dementia. |
