So what happened to your advice to the GM?
As for what Perrone said after the meeting with you, you see that as grounds for a B-08 charge? Since Colby could not set policy why didn’t you just call the GM directly, or did you? Then there is the charge regarding the budget meeting. Perrone did nothing wrong in the video as anyone can see but there was a charge related to that meeting in the attorney report. Colby now says the charge was because she was uncomfortable being in a meeting with Perrone after she filed charges with HR. One can understand being uncomfortable at that point but why make an issue of that with the attorney when nothing happened at the meeting? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You are correct in that neither of us knows both sides of what transpired in the meeting that followed my meeting on June 30. Here is what I do know about my meeting. It was not about a resident's complaint that could have been handled without escalation to the GM. It began and ended as a discussion about the reasons for a change in swim card expiration policy, the potential financial downside to the change in policy and alternatives to the policy that management might consider. There was no basis in fact for director Perrone to "counsel Ms. Phillips that she should be able to handle certain types of matters without escalating them up the chain" in the meeting that followed my meeting. In fact, there should never have been a second meeting from which Ms. Phillips' grievance arose. Heck if anything the four of them should have congratulated themselves for hearing the resident out, maybe learned something they didn't consider and made note to revisit the policy in the near future. |
