Never said that N.Carolina project is an active wind farm. The main reason I searched was to confirm earlier statements of the miles offshore of a N Carolina project.
Again in these kinds of projects breaking new ground, the principle of due care is expected to be applied, in advance of installation . Very few offshore wind projects are already in place producing power. Seems wrong headed to wait until some problems or tragedies do occur before exercising due diligence to examine the pitfalls and to avoid mistakes. Calling due care analysis mere speculation seems arbitrary & unwise planning. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tom, stop the spin. There are no wind turbines off the Carolinas coast at this time. Thus there is NOTHING to indicate any resort economy there has been harmed by any offshore project. Are you trying to help those advocating for these projects with your baseless speculation, or what? |
