Back from Oct 2023 there’s a detailed message # 1193979 on politics forum refuting all the studies claiming that wind and solar renewables will produce cheaper power.  In fact those claims leave out major costs such as replacement power, when the wind isn’t blowing or sun isn’t shining, For the sake of brevity, here’s just one chart.

And it no surprise that maintenance of offshore wind facilities face the challenges of oceanic weather, driving up costs.  The wind turbines at Prince Edward Island, Canada were claimed to reduce power costs but instead have done the opposite.   Click Here
