What is the distance in point of fact?
MarWin website still says 20 miles???? I was not able to answer that question previously relative to my comment regarding these windmills being as close as 10 miles to the shore even though US Wind still lists 20 miles as the distance from shore on their own website. The letter from the Mayor to Governor Moore answers this question in some detail. OffshoreWind |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yet I know I have read that some windmills may be located as close as 10 miles. What is the distance in point of fact? MarWin website still says 20 miles???? Can't blame Martins for taking advantage of the goose that laid the golden egg. True. However, if all the commercial fishery operations depend on an operation run by a single family it is not good under any circumstances. I have no idea if the harbor will have some other operation take over for commercial fishermen. Do you? Does anyone here know the facts surrounding this issue? |
