Unfortunately, yes, there are a number of good options. i say unfortunately because so many of the pickleball players will be migrating to them. i don't want to but if that's where the players are, i will go and yes, i will have to drive further - not loving it but it's what you do for pickleball.
ideally OP will have the best courts on the eastern shore at a reasonable price, as it has been. but if they increase rates so ridiculously high they will outprice themselves and there are plenty of other options with more popping up all the time. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: i'd hate to have to go elsewhere to play with my friends who will no longer be playing here. I suppose you will simply need to find another location to play pickleball. That will involve driving time, not to mention trying to find a good facility at a cost less than what OPA is offering. Do you and others upset with OPA pricing have a nearby facility in mind that offers what OPA offers and at a lower fee than OPA? |
