Take responsibility for this turn of events? Please. All who voted yes believe that the Center is needed. Nobody could have predicted the turn of events. To suggest that you have this prescience is beyond the ridiculous. Please tell me what will happen with the stock market in the next few years. I have some extra money to invest since I save so much in property taxes by being a resident. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Russ,I agree with most of you post but you have me a little confused.I don't understand how people that voted yes would have expected this to turn out any other way.The then sitting board had not shown the capability of running any of the other projects,deteriorating community center,swim and racquet,Yacht club,etc.Everyone who voted yes has to take some responsibility for this turn of events.You had a runaway train and the yes voters were saying "All aboard" In my view a yes vote was also a vote of confidence in the then sitting board. |
