No, they also have dead areas on greens, thin or bare fairways, fungus, brown-outs, crab grass -- all that good stuff. Maybe to a lesser degree than here, but they do have problems. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: But I do know that several premier golf courses on the East Coast, some of which have hosted U.S. Open tournaments, are looking bad too. What exactly is considered "looking bad" at these courses? A couple of bunkers are not raked? |
