For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I know one group that was happy to see the horse barn go--Taylor Bank. I used to visit with Mike Parks, the branch manager, when he was on the BOD. We'd spend half the time batting away horse flies. There were very few riders towards the end. The owner was a bit eccentric as I recall. I had several conversations with him because I believe that the land was part of the Chase owned property which I had responsibility for. We eventually donated a part of it to ChopTank for their electric right of way. |
