I know I have said this a hundred times..White Horse Boat ramp...why are we providing this to the public for free?? Here is my answer..If a owner is in good standing, give them a sticker to put on their boat trailer and they get to use the ramp and parking for free.Everyone else pays 10 bucks per use with a honor box. Have the OP police do a couple of spot checks each day during the summer,if someone hasn't paid , give them a ugly hard to remove sticker on their windshield.... And I don't want to hear from the BOD how they did a survey and 90% of the users were owners..baloney.. Everybody pays,brothers,sisters,renters,vacationers,guests,etc...only owners get a free ride.And owners have to bring their boat trailer title when they pick their ramp sticker. I mean, after all didn't we just spend 250K to rebuild the ramp? I think OP would collect enough 10 bucks to make it worth our while,maybe even enough to buy a used food truck!!!! My 3 cents again.Steve |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jack and Skip: I really don't know how or exactly when we became the provider of services to non property owners. This is behavior outside of our governing documents. I can certainly use any State park in Maryland because I pay my fair share of taxes, but, why should someone from Snow Hill or Berlin get to use our Ocean Pines parks without any contribution what so ever?
