| While I agree that non-OP residents should pay to use the boat ramps, I don't believe the honor box would be the best solution for paying. OP has too many break-in's and to much vandalism and that honor box would like putting catnip in front of a cat. The OP police would need to sit there all day to guard it. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Image below from Steve Payne - Image Title: honor box Image Info: honor box There is a numbered receipt that is hung from rear view mirror, it matches up with the money envelope in the box.At the end of the day an officer can pickup the proceeds from the box.If OP wanted they could also sell a season pass sticker for a fee to those who expected to use the ramp a lot.This could work for both ramps in OP.It might have a little learning curve at first but I think people would catch on...Steve  |
