Mr. Stone,
Your comments are very much appreciated. The next election cycle for the Board of Directors is extremely important as it will provide the direction in which way the community decides to proceed. I urge every association member to take particular interest, vet each eligible candidate carefully, and decide for themselves whom they would best like to represent this community going forward. Does Ocean Pines become a "premier resort community" expending upwards of $30 to $40 million dollars on a new Capital Facilities Plan in the next 10 years, (which, by the way, does not even include the additional cost of depreciation and maintenance), OR one in which is safe, attractive, and AFFORDABLE for all of our members to enjoy? For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Mr. Herrick,I just want to express my gratitude to you for doing exactly what you said you would do when you were seeking election to the BOD. It is obvious to me that you are serving in order to be a voice & a vote in the best interest of the residents of OP. I very much appreciate the time you volunteer & the transparency you exhibit while doing so.
