Section 4: General Subject: Pines Peer Praise Msg# 1020255

These are handed out to employees who go above and beyond.
Here are what management described as Praise Notes: "Examples could be teamwork, safety, service to guests or internal customers, commitment, fiscal accountability or simply a good deed (going out of one’s way, being aware of the problem and taking action)." Seems to me all the examples are not "above and beyond" but what any good employer should expect from every good employee. Can employees hand out Peer Praise to their supervisors? I note the use of the words "co-worker" and "peer." It sounds like department heads can give each other Peer Notes. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: “it is all part of the same philosophy of every child gets a trophy for participating. Heaven forbid we lose or fail at something, we will be scared for life.” I disagree because not everyone gets one.
