Here are what management described as Praise Notes:

"Examples could be teamwork, safety, service to guests or internal customers, commitment, fiscal accountability or simply a good deed (going out of one’s way, being aware of the problem and taking action)."

Seems to me all the examples are not "above and beyond" but what any good employer should expect from every good employee.

Can employees hand out Peer Praise to their supervisors? I note the use of the words "co-worker" and "peer."

It sounds like department heads can give each other Peer Notes.
