I guess it depends on how you look at it. I don’t label anyone who “works for me” as workers.
To quote from the OFFICIAL statement from OPA HR person: "Praise Notes are simple hand printed notes that you issue to a coworker when you observe them or 'catch them in the act' of doing a praiseworthy deed." |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Aren’t you exhausted discussing this yet?? 
“A department head praising a worker is not PEER Praise. A worker praising a department head is not PEER Praise.” I guess it depends on how you look at it. I don’t label anyone who “works for me” as workers. I don’t even like when I hear people say they work for me, they work WITH me for the community. Whatever the name of it, I understand it’s intent. I don’t know how else to explain it. |
