For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Some felt that like fine wine, they should not be sold before their time. Others, who believe that OP should never sell any of our land, let that lack of enthusiasm carry over to (not) selling those lots. Your comment above does not reflect the facts. I am one of those who believes OPA should not sell any common property. However, these lots are not commonly owned property. I wholeheartedly supported selling those individual building lots. I support selling those nows now as well. In fact, if no one buys, I would not object to them being given away in some sort of a lottery draw. OPA made a major push to sell those lots at the time of the failed Community Center project at the Southgate. Not a single lot was sold. |
