For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Colby, I want to really go off the deep end and give you a suggestion. I have an idea that ties several parts of conversations I've read together. OP has drainage issues...County was interested in using the clean course water and proving effluent water...OP is installing larger drain pipes in future ..old golf course off Beauchamp to build houses. So, all parties with vested interest come together and develop a long term plan to tie all this together. There is something in it for everyone. County should help OP with changing water on golf course and getting new irrigation system. County could sell OP clean water to developers, like on old golf course without spending $ to enlarge water treatment plant, County & OP could ask owner & developer of old golf course to install a pond to hold piped OP run off so it has a place to go. This is a big planning effort with several players but would solve many problems that don't seem to have a solution. Just had to say this because I have been thinking this would benefit all parties for a year plus I worked in a project office and still think like this. |
