Good to think that some relief is occurring for those folks, so they're not hit by runoff overflows from every significant rain squall. Even though more drainage steps will be needed.
I'll also be interested in Nancy's and/ or her neighbor's comments and reactions. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The pond capacity increase, given the drainage area feeding it, will delay overflow for perhaps an hour in a heavy, longer lasting rain. A benefit but the work will not prevent area flooding and we still have no place to get rid of the water. The original project as promoted by Colby Phillips would have provided an outlet but it was an “on paper” project that would have cost about $2.5 million and planned a water discharge on land OPA did not own. |
