Good to think that some relief is occurring for those folks, so they're not hit by runoff overflows from every significant rain squall. 

And wondering -- is there some means of doing a drain down or pump down, over the following several days, to again lower that pond's water level -- to provide capacity for the next squall's runoffs ??
